8. WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta
What this covers
Artover (Bloomshy Limited) sends and receives WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta, using our own business number. Our Meta application, "Artover Assistant", is used only to operate this account. This section explains what that involves for you.
What we collect through WhatsApp
When you message our business number, or agree to receive documents from us on WhatsApp, we process your WhatsApp phone number, the name shown on your WhatsApp profile, the content of the messages exchanged with us (including files such as invoices, quotes and receipts), and message delivery and read status.
Why we use it
We use WhatsApp to send you invoices, quotes, payment reminders and payment receipts you have asked for or that relate to a contract with us, and to answer your questions. Messages you send us may be processed by an AI service, under a data processing agreement, to prepare a draft reply that a member of our team reviews before anything is sent. Outside a 24-hour reply window we only send messages using templates approved by Meta.
Where it is kept and for how long
Message content and delivery status are stored in our own systems hosted on Google Cloud, and are kept for as long as the related client relationship and our accounting obligations require. Meta processes the messages as the operator of the WhatsApp service under its own terms and privacy policy, which you can read at whatsapp.com/legal.
Permissions our Meta application uses
Our application requests the WhatsApp Business management and messaging permissions from Meta. We use them solely to manage our own business account, its message templates and its messages. We do not use them to access any other business’s WhatsApp account, and we do not sell or share WhatsApp data with third parties for advertising.
Your choices
You can stop receiving messages from us at any time by replying STOP or by blocking our number in WhatsApp. You can ask us to delete the WhatsApp data we hold about you, as explained in the Data Deletion section below.
9. Data Deletion
You may ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you, including data collected through WhatsApp or any Meta service. Send your request to [email protected] from the email address or WhatsApp number concerned, with the subject "Data deletion request". We will confirm receipt, delete the data within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep part of it (for example, issued invoices for accounting purposes), and tell you when it is done. Full instructions are on our Data Deletion page at artover.com/data-deletion.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
